BALANCE SHORT GAME

Clubs’ Drills (Driver, Fairway woods and Irons):

The driver, fairway wood and irons are played differently and so are the drills for learning to play them. For instance, the most important aspect of the short or mid-iron swing are upright back swing and steep downward forward swing. The picture below shows the Kool & the Gang Drill, which dictates you must get-down-on-the ball steeply on the forward swing. If you can take the ball backwards and downwards without hitting the cap in the picture bellow, the drill is successful.
