BALANCE SHORT GAME

Sweet Spot Drills:

The sweet spot is an area marked out of the clubs head whose centre is a projection of the club’s head centre of gravity. It is the most effective place to hit the club with. Fixing the entire body and mind to focus, and swing within a predetermined path in a rhythmic manner gives the best chance of hitting the ball with the sweet spot most of the time. Maintaining a constant unlocked knee, spine angle and not sliding your body outside the distance between your two shoulders during hip turns, would put your body in an appropriate gated position to hit the ball square. In addition, your club should be swung through a gated path. Learn to hit the sweet spot
always by hitting a mounted ball between two tees as shown below in the “driver gating drill”.
